Strictly's Pete Wicks has been delivered some terrible news ahead of Saturday's live show. Bookies are predicting that the Strictly Come Dancing semi-final could spell the end for the former TOWIE star, as he's tipped to be the next celeb to sashay away.
Despite being a long shot with the bookmakers for weeks, the 36 year old and his dance partner Jowita Przystał have twirled their way into the semi-finals.The dynamic duo took to social media yesterday to tease fans with details of their upcoming performances, promising one "cute" and one "sexy" routine for tonight's show.
However, Ladbrokes has placed Pete as the front-runner for elimination, with odds at a stark 1/2. He's closely followed by JB Gill at 5/2, while Sarah Hadland and Tasha Ghouri are safer bets at 12/1.
Meanwhile, Chris McCausland is currently the hot favourite to win the whole shebang, with impressive odds of 2/9. Alex Apati from Ladbrokes commented: "Chris has headed the betting pretty much from day one this series; it'll take something pretty spectacular to stop him at this point", reports the Mirror.
