Strictly Come Dancing's Pete Wicks and Chris McCausland have issued a brutal response to a complaint made about a comment Chris said during the show.

Chris joined his Strictly co-star for an episode of Pete's Staying Relevant podcast, as the pair spoke about everything from Strictly Come Dancing to Chris' AI phone.

Last month, Chris spoke to Claudia Winkleman about making it through to the show's musical-themed quarter-final. Although his response was not well taken by the public, as he said musicals are "absolutely pointless".

This honest comment came back to haunt him as Pete revealed on the podcast that his own management had received a complaint about Chris's remark, reports the Lancs Live.Pete recalled: "Now and then, you get people that aren't happy and someone has actually emailed in to my management, unhappy with you and I, and I'm not even joking."He went on to read the email: "Hi, Pete.
