The BBC's Strictly Come Dancing Live tour quicksteps back into Manchester this weekend - although it won't be the original line-up announced.
The show heads to Manchester's AO Arena for four shows on Saturday and Sunday. But the tour was hit by controversy this week, after the withdrawal of contestant Wynne Evans over his "inappropriate actions" amid comments made at a photocall for the event.
Welsh opera singer Wynne, who has been partnered with pro dancer Katya Jones since partaking in the 2024 series, said in a statement, which was posted to his Instagram Story: "I’ve agreed with the BBC that I’ll take some time out from my radio show and the Strictly Live tour, as well as my other public commitments, to prioritise my wellbeing. "I am deeply sorry for the pain my inappropriate actions have caused, and plan to take this time for self-reflection.
Apologies to those I won’t get to see at the remaining performances and I’m grateful to my fellow tour gang for all the amazing support they have given me." But while Wynne will no longer be a part of the show, fans heading along can still expect to see six other of the class of Strictly 2024 doing ballroom battle once again.
