Strictly Come Dancing fans are in for a treat after BBC bosses confirmed a date for the shows finale. After getting underway in September, the popular reality show will come to an end on Saturday, December 17, with a winner announced that evening.Viewers can tune in from 7.30pm on BBC One Scotland, and it'll be a movie-length final - ending at 9:35pm, writes The Mirror. The confirmation comes after the semi-final was moved for the football.

It will now air on Sunday, December 11, so it doesn't clash with England's World Cup quarter-final against France - and the results show will air on Monday, December 12.When last weekend's results show was moved around to avoid clashing with the football, fans were furious as many planned their weekend around it.The BBC One Latin and ballroom show returned earlier last week for its latest installment, as the six remaining stars took on their musical tracks of choice.

The results show was then moved to the earlier day of Saturday to make way for the BBC coverage of the football.Taking toTwitter, one wrote: “Results?

What day is it? Oh it’s the flipping football messing up the schedule.” A second echoed: “Can we never have Strictly on Friday and Saturday again, it’s thrown me right off.”One fellow fan suggested: “Why didn’t Strictly just move to BBC2 for a week.
