Bosses of the popular BBC dance show Strictly Come Dancing have denied claims that this year’s line-up have been advised “to avoid big events or partying” amid fears of them testing positive for Covid.
Strictly contestants were rumoured to have been "advised to avoid big events or partying" due to fears more celebrities and professional cancers could catch the virus – after Tom Fletcher and Amy Dowden tested positive for the virus and were forced to miss a week.
But, a source told OK! the celebs haven't been "banned" from going to parties. Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the show has reiterated that “strict government and industry guidelines” are followed at all times.
