A stretch of the M60 in Greater Manchester has been revealed as a likely 'blackspot' for queues of traffic this Bank Holiday weekend.
The RAC predicts that the worst traffic will be seen on the motorway between junction seven for the A56 (Altrincham) and junction 18 for the M62.
Another 'blackspot' identified by the RAC and transport analytics firm INRIX is a stretch of the M25 between Bromley and the Dartford Crossing.
The busiest day for getaway trips is expected to be on Friday, as families make the most of the long weekend. The worst tailbacks are likely to be between 2pm and 7pm.
