Storm Eunice has blown down a large street at Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash’s £1.2 million Essex home. A red weather warning was issued across the UK on Friday 18 February as Storm Eunice threatened to bring winds of up to 90mph.

The Met Office expressed concerns that the extreme conditions could cause damage to buildings, uprooted trees, power cancellations and power cuts. The warning read: “The Met Office has issued a rare Red Weather Warning as Storm Eunice is expected to bring extremely strong winds and continued disruption for much of the UK on Friday. “The Red Weather Warning for wind covers southwest coastal areas of the UK, where the most significant gusts in exposed areas could be in excess of 90mph from early Friday morning." "Further inland and within the wider Amber Warning area, gusts will still be significant and damaging for many, with 70-80mph gusts possible," it concluded.

Former EastEnders star Joe Swash documented the moment he chose to brave the winds as he went outside to assess the damage after a large tree at Pickle Cottage was uprooted as a result of the weather.Talking to the camera as the wind could be heard roaring around him, Joe said: “This wind is unbelievable, look… we’ve already lost a tree.” Get exclusive celebrity stories and fabulous photoshoots straight to your inbox with OK!'s daily newsletter .
