Stop and search order in place after man, 20, seriously injured in horror shooting

Another stop and search order has been put in place across Little Hulton after a 20-year-old man was seriously injured in a horror shooting on May 26.

At around 9.30pm, police received reports of a shooting at a house on Aspinall Crescent in Salford. Armed officers and paramedics descended on the scene.

The victim, a 20-year-old male, was rushed to hospital from the scene with serious injuries as a major investigation into the incident was launched by Greater Manchester Police. Two men were initially arrested on suspicion of attempted murder but have since been bailed. However police say there are other suspects they have identified who they believe are linked to the attack.
