Manchester City will be without two important players - and their manager - for the Premier League fixture with recently-promoted Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Sunday afternoon (2pm).
As reported, Belgium playmaker and City captain Kevin De Bruyne has been ruled out for four months after being forced to undergo surgery to repair a hamstring problem.
John Stones (muscular) is the other confirmed absentee, at least from a playing perspective, with Bernardo Silva back from illness.
Pep Guardiola will not be in the City dugout, though, as the Catalan manager recovers after going under the knife himself. He will miss at least the two games pencilled in for before the international break.
