The Duke and Duchess of Sussex held hands as they moved through Westminster Hall at the end of the service while the other royal couples in the procession party walked side by side not touching.
Meghan, 41, was seen travelling to Westminster Hall in a car with Sophie, Countess of Wessex, Meghan's husband Prince Harry, took part in the procession from Buckingham Palace.
Prior to the Queen’s passing, the Sussexes had departed from official royal life, returning previously just for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
