'Still Game', 'River City' and footballing stars face off in charity football match in memory of Lanarkshire youngster

Famous faces including stars of River City , Still Game and Britain's Got Talent will join footballing favourites at a charity extravaganza in memory of a beloved Lanarkshire youngster who sadly lost her brave battle with cancer.

The Allstars v Legends 2023 football match taking place at Airdrieonians' Excelsior Stadium on June 24 will see teams including Sanjeev Kohli ( Still Games's Navid ), River City's Stephen Purdon and Cameron Fulton, wrestler and actor Grado, Coatbridge boxer Ricky Burns and Airdrie MMA fighter Paul Craig take to the field alongside Diamonds' legends Owen Coyle, Marvyn Wilson, Allan Gow and Jerome Vareille.

The match will see the squads compete for the Faye Taylor Memorial Cup.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
