Now most of his squad are fit, a switch to a three-man defence looks sound and the new boys have got to grips with the Scottish top flight.
MacLean said: “I’m happier with the shape of the team now – we look more solid and settled. When you’re searching for results, with a new squad and injuries to contend with, there ends up being a lot of changes.
