Cambuslang Rangers boss Paul McColl hopes a 3-2 win over sixth-placed Maybole sends his side on a run that takes them up the West of Scotland First Division.The result – Camby’s first win in eight games – takes them up to 13th in the 16-team league, as they visit second-bottom Neilston on Saturday.A win could take McColl’s side up to 11th, but he’s not taking anything for granted.He said: “It would be good to go on a run, but we’ll take it a game at a time.“That’s a really good win, they’ve got some really good players and they must be paying decent money.“The boys played really well, so I enjoyed it.“It was a good result, we needed it, and it was a long time since we had a win – that wasn’t good, not having a win in all that time.“The longer it goes, the worse it gets, but football can change quickly.“I had a wee feeling that we would win on Saturday and we did well, it was quite a late winner.“It was quite an even game.
