Liverpool hero Steven Gerrard has revealed which Manchester United player he wished he played alongside during his playing career, and given his verdict on the age-old Ronaldo versus Messi debate.
The Aston Villa manager has played with a number of world class players for both Liverpool and England over the years; Wayne Rooney, Luis Suarez and John Terry to name a few.
Gerrard was a guest on Sky Sports' The Overlap when he was asked which current Premier League player he'd have liked to play alongside.
Naturally, he told host and United legend Gary Neville which of the Liverpool squad would fall under that category. “Mo Salah,” Gerrard predictably answered.
