Steve Clarke insists his side were on a "hiding to nothing" as they scraped a 2-1 win against the Czech Republic in the nations league.

Jakub Pesek opened the scoring for the makeshift hosts who had to call up a range of uncapped domestic players after the entire first team and coaching staff were forced into coronavirus quarantine.

But the Scots rallied before the break with Lyndon Dykes finding the target for the first time on the international stage before a Ryan Christie penalty in the second half proved to be the winner.

The plucky home side battled hard for an equaliser but couldn't get past David Marshall for a second time. The win means Scotland top Group 2 in League B after Israel and Slovakia played out a 1-1 draw.
