Many of us will recognise actor Stephen Graham from his iconic roles in Line of Duty and This Is England.But the 50-year-old is also known for being an incredibly kind and selfless person, and one interaction with a former child co-star is a stellar example.During filming for This Is England back in 2006, Stephen met young child star Thomas Turgoose, who was just 13 when he played leading character Shaun Fields.
The Mirror reports that in the film, young Shaun is taken in by a gang of skinheads including the sociopathic Combo - who is played by Stephen Graham.
The pair filmed many scenes together, with Thomas's character looking up to Combo until he realised what an awful person he truly was.
But outside of filming, tragedy struck within Thomas's family when his mother Sharon died of cancer. This Is England was dedicated to Thomas’ mum, who was not able to watch her son acting on the big screen. "My mum passed away from lung cancer after I finished filming This Is England.
