If it can help getting the stories told, brilliant,” Murphy added.As well as Small Things Like These, Murphy is keeping busy with a return to Peaky Blinders in the upcoming Netflix film The Immortal Man.The movie, which is being directed by Tom Harper and has begun filming, will be set during World War II and has been described as an “epic continuation of the multi-award-winning gangster saga”.As well as the return of Murphy as Tommy Shelby and Steven Graham as Hayden Stagg, new cast additions include Rebecca Ferguson, Barry Keoghan, Tim Roth, Sophie Rundle, Ned Dennehy, Packy Lee, Ian Peck and Jay Lycurgo.Murphy previously told Deadline of the project: “It seems like Tommy Shelby wasn’t finished with me.

Line of Duty actor Stephen Graham offered to adopt fellow actor Thomas Turgoose when he was a teenager after his mum Sharon tragically died from cancer. Co-stars Stephen and Thomas first met when filming the british drama This Is England together in 2006, when Thomas was just 13 years old.Thomas played lead character Shaun Fields, who was taken in by a gang, while Stephen played Combo, who was a sociopathic racist in the gang.Thomas’ mum passed away shortly after they completed the film, meaning his mum was not able to watch her son acting on the big screen.
