Exiting only 32 minutes in during Sunday's episode, the actor said he experienced a "lightbulb moment" convincing him that he didnt require aggressive motivation to understand his own worth.
However, his withdrawal was met with harsh criticism from the directing staff (DS), who labeled him as "weak" and "gutless", declaring his time on the show an utter waste.
Chief instructor Mark 'Billy' Billingham declared: "Barrowman was a great example of allowing fear to take control of a weak mind, not even having the guts and drive to give it a go," he scoffed.
