Stacey Solomon shows how to make a stylish lamp out of an old coat hanger – and it looks amazing

Lockdown is upon us and with lots of time spent indoors it is the perfect time to get try out some DIY. Loose Women star Stacey Solomon has done just that, choosing to spend Wednesday creating a very unique lamp.

The lamp, involved a old coat hanger that Stacey had lying about.Taking to Instagram the Loose Women star shared footage of the hanger, some string, a glue gun, some gold leaf and a wooden lid.

She captioned it: “Okay so here we go… I had a broken hanger so I googled “what can I make with a broken hanger?” and this was my favourite idea I found”.

What the former X Factor contestant chose to make was a lamp, and she explained: “So I don’t have a bedside lamp so I attempted to make one from my hanger” alongside a laughing emoji.
