Stacey Solomon has delighted fans with a new 'Elf on he Shelf' trick for kids, which has left them stunned at the 'magic' in the simple home craft, using just one ingredient and your tap.The 35-year-old appears to hilariously crafted a minature version of her husband Joe Swash in elf form, as the cheeky festive figure had an uncanny resemblance to the former EastEnders star, ginger hair and all. "Making magic with Joe the elf this morning," Stacey captioned the video on her Instagram story as she panned the camera across the ginger-headed elf who was perched at the kitchen sink. She then filmed herself filling a shallow white plate which was decorated in snowflakes with water from the tap, before setting it down on a hard surface and sprinkling silver glitter into the water. As observed by the elf, who of course was there for a helping hand, they then added dish soap to another small dish next to the plate. There was no better person to test out the magic of this elves experiment than Stacey's eldest daughter Rose, three.
As she dipped her finger into the soap, and edged it to the plate of sparkly water, the glitter whooshed to the sides almost like magic.
Many parents have already been trying the trend with their own kids for a bit of festive fun, having went down a huge hit with fans of Disney's Frozen, as they are able to channel their inner Elsa superpowers.Meanwhile, Stacey previously let slip the 'very upsetting' Christmas tradition she has with her husband Joe.
Stacey shares Rex, Rose and Belle with Joe and has elder sons Zachary and Leighton from a previous relationship. Join the Daily Record's WhatsApp community here and get the latest news sent straight to your messages. Stacey candidly opened up on her
