Stacey Solomon's son tricked his mum into parting with more cash than expected - but it was for a good cause. The Loose Women star revealed how her son got her to sponsor him £110 for his latest fun run.

Nine-year-old Leighton asked his mum to sponsor him a 'good amount'. She agreed £5 a lap after he told her he'd probably only do a few as it's a 'big field'.

Stacey, 32, was pleased on Wednesday (May 25) as she was actually able to attend the event, admitting she usually misses out on them and sports days due to work. "Just got back from Leighton's fun run...

I miss out on a lot of the sports days and fun runs because I work away a lot and Leighton thoroughly saw an opportunity to make this one," she wrote alongside a video of the pair she shared with her millions of followers on Instagram. "He said, 'you sponsor everyone per lap, I'll only do three maybe four because it's a big field and there's a time limit'.
