Stacey Solomon was emotional as she revealed she is launching her own homeware line with a huge supermarket chain.The presenter and social media star, 33, took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce she’s releasing a range of home items with George at Asda and offered a sneak peek look into what will be on sale.
Stacey has drawn a huge online following for her DIY home decor at Pickle Cottage, where she lives with husband Joe Swash and her five children.
In the latest boost to her bank account, fans will be able to get a bit of Stacey's style in their own home with her new homeware range, which will go on sale in September.
Speaking to her fans in a candid video, Stacey began her announcement: “I'm actually really quite nervous! So I have been working on something that's really close to my heart. “I've always wanted to do it but have never found the right person to do it with, the right opportunity to do it with and I finally did find the right brand and the right people that I wanted to work with and I can finally tell you that I've created my own homeware brand. “The reason I haven't done anything like this before is because I wanted to wait for the right opportunity to be able to work with a brand that aligns with my values to be able to really get involved in the process and not just like slap my name on stuff and put it out there.” Stacey then explained that she was very hands-on in the creation process, adding: “I wanted to be a part of the design, the making, where it's made, how it's made, the packaging, every little detail”.
