Stacey Solomon 'practised losing face' before missing out on NTA to late Paul O'Grady

Stacey Solomon has confessed that she had already practised her 'gracious loser face' in the run-up to the National Television Awards.

Stacey revealed she had already accepted her fate as she lost out to the late TV legend, Paul O'Grady, who won a posthumous award for his show, For The Love Of Dogs.

Stacey was also up against Clarkston's Farm and The Martin Lewis Money Show Live in the factual entertainment category. But the Loose Women panellist was anything but bitter, as she admitted that she "couldn't have lost to a better person" after missing out on a prize for her show, Stacey Solomon's Sort Your Life Out.

Going live to her 5.7 million followers after the ceremony with husband Joe Swash, she said: "I didn't win... I'm glad I practised my gracious loser face," before Joe is heard teasing her about having a 'pre-planned speech.'
