Stacey Solomon makes Emmerdale debut and cannot contain her excitement

Stacey Solomon has ticked off another "life goal" after she was unexpectedly featured in Monday's episode of hit ITV soap Emmerdale.

The 33 year old TV favourite, who is known for starring on shows such as Loose Women and Sort Your Life Out, appears to be following in soap star husband Joe Swash's shoes after her name was mentioned during Monday evening's instalment of the long-running TV drama.

Mum-of-five Stacey was name-checked in a conversation between Lydia (Karen Blick) and Sam Dingle (James Hooton), and a fan tagged her in a clip of the moment on Instagram. "When you are watching Emmerdale and @staceysolomon gets a mention," the fan penned.

Unable to hide her excitement, Stacey reshared the post onto her Stories and told her followers: "Omg why am I so excited by this," with a laughing emoji.
