Stacey Solomon issues apology to I'm A Celeb bosses on behalf of Joe Swash after discovery

Stacey Solomon, 32, was feeling nostalgic today while going through her fiancé Joe Swash’s memorabilia from his career on TV.

However, she was left taken aback when she stumbled across the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! winner’s collection of souvenirs from his time on the ITV show back in 2008.Stacey, who was crowned Queen of the Jungle just two years after her now-boyfriend was given his crown and wooden staff by Ant and Dec, questioned why Joe had been able to take his prizes back home from Australia, as she wasn’t allowed to.The mum-of-four started looking back through Joe’s memories as part of a surprise she is planning for his upcoming 40th birthday.Stacey has been busy transforming the spare room in Pickle Cottage into a game room for her husband-to-be, which prompted Joe’s mum to get involved by contributing some of his I’m A Celeb memorabilia.Explaining her tasks for the afternoon in view of her 4.9 million Instagram followers, Stacey said: “I’ve been trying to make it a drinks/bar area in between things, but I’m not getting anywhere fast.“However, I really wanted to put loads of Joe’s special memories and achievements up wherever I can.“So his mum came round today, because she’s been saving a load of his memories and looking after them, and she brought round Joe’s jungle hat, how cool!“And his staff from when he won.”After showing off the iconic items to the camera, Stacey stopped in her tracks when she realised that Joe may have broken a couple of I’m A Celebrity rules by sneaking “contraband” home from the jungle.

She continued after trying on Joe’s hat: “We weren’t even allowed to take this home when I was in the jungle, so I don’t know how he got this. “He probably wasn’t allowed to take it home.
