Stacey Solomon has turned her Pickle Cottage swimming pool into the 'village lido' in a kind gesture during the UK wide heatwave.

The Loose Women panellist transformed her pool after the heatwave resulted in her children's schools closing. Stacey has sons Zachary, 14, and Leighton, 10, from previous relationships and shares Rex, three, and Rose, with her fiancé Joe Swash, writes the Mirror.The former EastEnders actor also has a son called Harry, 15, from a previous relationship.

DIY Queen Stacey is always updating fans on social media about her families life in Pickle Cottage, and today was no different.As temperatures soared and reached a high of 40°C on Tuesday, many schools, offices, and businesses shut down for the day.

The 32-year-old took to her Instagram to share a sweet snap of her enjoying an ice cold drink while the local kids enjoyed the pool."All the boys schools for cancelled this morning because of the heat," she captioned the post. "So we welcomed all the kids to pickle cottage pool.
