Inside DIY Queen Stacey Solomon’s subtle last-minute wedding dress customisation

All eyes have been on newlyweds Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash in the last month, after the fan favourites finally tied the knot at a stunning ceremony at their family home in Essex in July after 12 years together.

And this week, as OK! exclusively caught up with the beautiful bride's dress supplier Marie Therese Hickey - owner of Verona Bridal, Magherafelt - we found out that DIY extraordinaire and mum-of-four Stacey, 32, had her own part to play in customising her princess gown.

Marie Therese – who has also dressed celebrity brides including Made In Chelsea’s Nicola Hughes, Irish influencer Suzanne Jackson O’Connor and model Maeve Madden – recalls Stacey telling her stylists that she’d already fallen in love with dresses crafted by the designer Berta, but as they were one of the only two stores in the UK that held that particular range, she needed their help.
