Stacey Solomon delays wedding as she applies for license to tie knot in her garden

Stacey Solomon has said her wedding to Joe Swash is on pause while the couple try to get a licence to get married in the back garden of their new home.

The pair got engaged at Christmas and recently moved into a house in Essex that they have dubbed “Pickle Cottage”. Solomon, 31, has been showing off the large garden on her Instagram feed and said the move has given her second thoughts about her wedding plans.

She told Cat Deeley on ITV’s Lorraine: “We had the venue and we didn’t know we were going to move here. We saw the house and thought, ‘Let’s go for it’. “Now we’re here, we’d actually like to get married in the garden.
