EastEnders may be running out of episodes soon but show bosses have a back-up plan for fans of the soap which stopped filming in March in the midst of the health pandemic.

While the long-running show is set to run out of episodes by the 16 June, producers have revealed plans for a spin-off show in the interim hosted by none other than Stacey Dooley.

For those eager to get their fix of the antics in Albert Square, the BBC will broadcast a show called Secrets of the Square every Monday starting 22 June.

The show will see EastEnders super fan Stacey catch up with the likes of Danny Dyer and Letitia Dean who will reflect on their time on one of the most iconic soaps on the telly.
