St Johnstone WFC will hit the reset button and seek to kick-start their Scottish Women’s Premier League 2 season this weekend.That was the message from manager Jamie Reynolds as the Perth side chase their first win of the new campaign.A disappointing 4-1 defeat away at Queen’s Park last Sunday followed on from the curtain-raising loss against Stirling University.Saints are on their travels again this weekend and face bottom of the table Gartcairn in Airdrie.“We have had two disappointing results but both games where we have started well and controlled the game,” Reynolds explained to the PA.“What we need to focus on as a group is how we convert those moments where we have successful periods in the match into dominating the vast majority of the match.“It’s almost scripted that we have Gartcairn away on Sunday.“When Kevin [Candy] and I started with St Johnstone we had two tricky results and the match versus Gartcairn was an opportunity to hit the reset button and kick-start our form.“It’s important we do the exact same thing again this weekend to set us off on a little run.”Reflecting back on the defeat against Queen’s Park, Reynolds admitted the second half performance fell into the category of unacceptable.The scoreline had been locked at 0-0 heading into the break.He said: “Our first half performance was exactly what we asked of the players out of possession.“We frustrated Queen’s Park and controlled the space, we had two decent opportunities and if we had taken our chances then we go in at half-time looking different.“Our second half performance was unacceptable, and the girls know that.“We were slack, we didn’t show the reaction that I know the girls are capable of, we didn’t show the character that the squad has and
