Spice Girls' Mel B and Emma Bunton to compete in new series of The Circle USA

Former Spice Girls Emma Bunton and Melanie Brown (aka Mel B ) have hung up their microphones to take part in the latest series of Netflix smash hit The Circle USA.

As part of the show, the pop legends will be appearing in the streaming platform’s popular reality show as catfishes, tasked with catching out contestants who are all vying for a grand prize of $150,000 (£120,000).

Each contestant will be asked to present online personas that are either themselves or a complete catfish as they communicate solely online while residing in self-isolated apartments.

Not everything is as it seems however, with some of the catfishes designed to trick contestants being played by celebrities - in this case, two of pop’s most recognisable faces.
