EXCLUSIVE: Spenser Granese (Little Death) has landed a role opposite Kiernan Shipka, Kiefer Sutherland and Krysten Ritter in Stone Cold Fox, the ’80s action thriller marking the directorial debut of Sophie Tabet, on which we were first to report.
The revenge tale watches as the defiant Fox (Shipka) breaks out of an abusive commune in search of her family, but when the queenpin (Ritter) kidnaps her little sister and sends a crooked cop (Sutherland) after her, Fox has no choice but to infiltrate the very place she escaped.
Granese plays Ricky, the devious right-hand man to Ritter’s villainous Goldie. A man who loves the sound of his own laugh, Ricky is famous for doing Goldie’s bidding, namely kidnapping Shipka’s younger sister and taking her back to their seedy commune, setting the film’s plot in motion.
Written by Sophie Tabet and Julia Roth, the film also stars Lorenza Izzo, Jamie Chung and Karen Fukuhara. Bee-Hive’s Stephen Braun (Sacramento) is producing alongside The Wonder Company’s Eric B.
