Spain may be open for international travellers as a holiday destination by the end of spring, the tourism minister has said.

Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez had said he did not expect to be able to welcome international tourists until the end of the summer But tourism minister Reyes Maroto has now said Spain hopes it will be possible at the end of spring.
