Holidaymakers heading to popular Spanish destinations this February half-term may find tough Covid measures are still in place.

Many regions continue to impose coronavirus restrictions in bars, restaurants and nightclub. Spain is bracing itself for an influx of Brits over the half-term holidays after the UK announced that travel restrictions are set to ease.

But restrictions on socialising, eating and drinking in resorts like Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Majorca and Marbella remain, WalesOnline reports. A Covid passport will be required to enter bars and restaurants in the Balearic Islands of Majorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera.
