Ozempic, the weight loss drug that has taken over Hollywood this past year, is at the center of the newest “South Park” streaming special, now streaming on Paramount+.

In “South Park: The End of Obesity,” the weight loss drugs take the quiet mountain town of South Park by storm. When the overweight, foul-mouthed Eric Cartman is denied access to the medicine, he recruits Kyle, Stan, Butters and Kenny for help.

In the trailer, Cartman laments his size in the mirror while his friends run lab experiments in lab coats and goggles, preparing him to take the drugs. “We’ve been out navigating the American healthcare system,” says Butters. “I almost died!” Paramount+ has released six other streaming exclusive events: “South Park: Post COVID,” “South Park: Post COVID: The Return of COVID,” “South Park: The Streaming Wars,” “South Park: The Streaming Wars Part 2,” “South Park: Joining the Panderverse” and the recently released “South Park (Not Suitable For Children).” All six specials are exclusively available to stream on Paramount+. “South Park” first debuted on Comedy Central in 1997 and has been renewed through 2027.
