South Lanarkshire councillors approved plans to implement new policies that will challenge the stigma around menstruation.At the full council meeting today (September 28), a motion proposed by councillor Julia Marrs and seconded by councillor Mary Donnelly was welcomed by elected members.It calls for the council to recognise and challenge the stigma surrounding menstruation and to implement new policies to help those who suffer.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
