South Lanarkshire Council's annual clothing appeal has been hailed a success

Over 400 warm jackets were donated to help those in need during South Lanarkshire Council’s annual appeal.The local authority launched its yearly winter clothing appeal last month and locals were given the opportunity to donate their pre-loved items.The donated jackets have been laundered and sorted by the council’s social work unpaid work service before being distributed to those who need them the most.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
