South Lanarkshire Council is inviting locals to share their ideas to improve the area

South Lanarkshire residents are being encouraged to tell the council their ideas.An ideas letterbox has been created by the council for locals to send ideas for improvements and changes across the local authority.Ideas will be read and responded to by the people who might be able to take them forward.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

They will also be able to specify whether or not they want feedback.There will be an option to send the idea to a specific resource or service.Councillor Convery added: “Don’t worry if you are not sure who the idea should go to – we will be able to make sure it goes to the right person.” Examples of some of the ideas that have already been submitted, and their responses include tackling anti-social behaviour in specific areas, installing CCTV in areas, upgrading play areas in
