Sony Pictures Television Promotes Mike Wald & Jason Spivak
deadline.comSony Pictures Television has two new presidents of distribution and networks. The company has promoted Mike Wald and Jason Spivak to the role of co-presidents.
It comes a month after Keith Le Goy, to whom they report, was promoted to Chairman, SPT. Le Goy was previously Chairman, Worldwide Distribution and Networks, Sony Pictures Entertainment.
Wald and Spivak will co-lead the studio’s television and home entertainment distribution businesses, overseeing post-theatrical distribution of films, distribution of television content around the world, multi-channel marketing, and international cable networks in Latin America and Europe.
Wald was most recently EVP of International Distribution and Content Strategy, where he has overseen international distribution for Sony Pictures Entertainment’s (SPE) TV series and feature films across all platforms.
