The series will offer an insider’s glimpse into the world of finance with its titans and rising stars. The six-episode series looks to build on the brand’s global finance and markets-focused coverage.
Each half-hour episode will air on Bloomberg TV, Bloomberg Originals and bloomberg.com. Bullish will launch in May. Basak is Bloomberg’s global finance correspondent and anchor.
She has been with the company for over ten years. It is the latest original series for the brand after The Circuit and Posthuman, both hosted by Emily Chang, An Optimist’s Guide to the Planet with Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Momentum with Haslinda Amin. “Wall Street has evolved from being a ‘location’ into an interconnected global idea that represents the people, data and ambition driving finance,” said Basak. “On Bullish, the industry’s most important voices will help us untangle the complexities and behind-the-scenes details of the stories and personalities moving the markets.
