EXCLUSIVE: School’s back for winter. Maxton Hall: The World Between Us Season 2 is now penciled in to premiere at the end of this year, we’ve learned.
No specific date for the premiere has been given, but Amazon exclusively told us it will be “at the end” of 2025. The second run of the breakout Prime Video young adult series wrapped filming in September last year, and with Season 1 launching in May 2024 the gap between the two will be relatively substantial. “We want to offer fans around the globe the best Maxton Hall experience,” said an Amazon spokesperson. “As such, we’re intensely working on a first class production and music composition for the series, including comprehensive language versions.
We promise the wait will be worth it.” Maxton Hall, produced out of Germany by UFA Fiction and set in the UK’s private education system, follows Ruby Bell (Harriet Herbig-Matten), a girl from a humble background who wins a scholarship to an elite British college, and her relationship with uber-privileged heir James Beaufort (Damian Hardung).
As we previously reported, Season 2 begins after the pair share a night together in Oxford. Everything seems to be going perfectly for Ruby, but but a twist of fate in James’ family changes everything and James himself brings her back from cloud nine to a harsh reality.
