Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insists the Manchester United players will have to 'suffer' if they are to achieve a positive result against City in the first derby of the season.
United have won three of the last four Premier League derbies and drew the other, while Solskjaer has presided over four wins from eight games against Pep Guardiola's side.
A second successive league win would put United level on points with their city rivals. "I'm not one to talk about what I've done," Solskjaer said. "I've got great respect and admiration for Pep and what he's done.
We've had a few good results against them and tight games, we need another performance like this. "Sometimes you need luck, sometimes you need the players to really, really stick at it.
