Solange Knowles has made a historical milestone by becoming the first black woman to have the opportunity to compose a score for the New York City Ballet.
The talented singer, 36, couldn't contain her joy and announced the news on her social media to her dedicated fans and followers.
The score will be created for the Fall Fashion Gala's 10th anniversary celebration on September 28th which is set to take place at the Lincoln Center in the heart of the big apple.
