Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival has announced that Sofia Coppola’s Priscilla will be the closing film of this year’s festival, where it will receive its South Asian premiere on November 3 at the PVR Maison in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC).
Mubi owns all rights in India to Priscilla, along with a slew of other international territories on the film, which also includes UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Latin America, Benelux and Turkey.
The film received its world premiere at the Venice film festival in August. The film will be released theatrically in India through a partnership between Mubi and PVR Inox Pictures.
Commenting on the South Asia premiere, Svetlana Naudiyal, Programming Director, Asia, Mubi said: “We are thrilled to continue our long-standing partnership with the prestigious Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival, celebrating our shared love for cinema.
