A social worker has been accused of bullying the family of a teenage boy with severe autism who was sectioned in hospital following an aggressive outburst.

Darren Baylis-Potts, whose son was admitted to A&E after a 'meltdown' at his home last year, has been in a 'battle' with social services for three years now.

The dad of two, who has had to move out of his family home in Gorton because his son has become so aggressive, says the situation is now on a 'knife edge'.

Police were called to the incident which took place on a Friday night in late 2021 when the 14-year-old was hysterically screaming after his parents wrestled a sharp implement he had hidden in his sock out of his hands.
