The Queen looked happier and more jubilant than she has in a while as she met the president of Switzerland just days after turning the incredible age of 96.The monarch, who is set to celebrate her Platinum Jubilee in June, was all-smiles as she posed for photographs with Ignazio Cassis and his wife Paola.
She also looked much more agile than in previous weeks and even appeared without her walking stick. Wearing a stunning light blue and turquoise silk dress, the Queen enjoyed chatting to the politician and shook his hand.

She opted to accessorise her outfit with a layered pearl necklace, matching earrings and her often-worn wrist watch.The Royal also chose a delicate brooch and black patented brogues for the engagement, as she stood in the Oak Room sitting room at Windsor Castle.The Queen had been enjoying a few days relaxing in her Sandringham estate for her birthday, but it was back to business as usual yesterday, as she flew back to Berkshire in her private helicopter.
She was also pictured being driven away from her Wood Farm cottage in a trusty Range Rover car as she headed back to her main residence.
