A small town found on one of Scotland's most popular islands has just been hailed by Time magazine as 'one of the world's greatest places'.
The influential American publication has named it on a list of 50 different 'extraordinary destinations to explore' for 2022 alongside the likes of the Great Barrier Reef, Galapagos Islands, the Trans Bhutan Trail and even the International Space Station.
The incredible list sees Portree, the capital town of the island of Skye, sit alongside many of the world's most stunning places, with the writers hailing it for its "whiskey [sic] and wilderness".
