The show will run until the end of the season with just a few episodes remaining. Staff were told on Tuesday that the 90-minute comedy talk show would be getting axed, The Mirror reports, along with a round of redundancies taking place.
Sky will replace Soccer AM with the programme Saturday Social, which was previously broadcast at 9:30am but will now go out an hour later.
A spokesperson for Sky said: “Soccer AM has played an important role in our coverage of football for the past three decades, and we continually adapt to the evolving needs of our customers.
