Crowd chants and noises from FIFA video games will be used in Sky's coverage of the Premier League restart. As football in England prepares to return tonight, bosses are thinking of ways to enhance the experience for fans, who are not allowed to attend games.
All games for the remainder of the season will be played behind closed doors. But Sky Sports has teamed up with EA Sports, the developers of the popular FIFA video game franchise to create an artificial atmosphere.
An archive of 1,300 chants and crowd noises will be used from the games archive, the Mail Online reports. It means there will be loud cheers when a home team scores or given a penalty, and boos when a decision goes against them.
