Jermaine Jenas has been riddled with guilt since being sacked by the BBC over a sexting scandal. The ex-footballer claims he has been "living like a zombie" and having sleepless night since after being let go by Beeb bosses for sending inappropriate texts to female colleagues.The 41-year-old has been struggling to come to terms with the damage he has done to his life.
His family, his wife, his career, and his reputation has all been affected and Jenas said he was "ashamed of himself" for what he has done.
His wife, Ellie Penfold, is livid and not speaking to him at the moment amid the controversy. The axed One Show host has repeatedly said he has he has done nothing illegal but has apologised if he made any of the women he had messaged feel uncomfortable, reports the Mirror.
Jenas spoke of his shame after his world collapsed on Thursday following the corporation's confirmation and an "excruciating" meeting with HR and execs.
